1、國慶節的節日意義
（1）國家象徵
國慶紀念日是近代民族國家的一種特徵，是伴隨着近代民族國家的出現而出現的，並且變得尤為重要。它成為一個獨立國家的標誌，反映這個國家的國體和政體。

2、國慶節風俗習慣 國慶日，各國都要舉行不同形式的慶祝活動，以加強本國人民的愛國意識，增強國家的凝聚力。各國之間也都要相互表示祝賀。每逢五年或逢十年的國慶日，有的還要擴大慶祝規模。為慶祝國慶日，各國政府通常要舉行一次國慶招待會，由國家元首、政府首腦或外交部長出面主持，邀請駐在當地的各國使節和其他重要外賓參加。但也有的國家不舉行招待會，如美國、英國均不舉行招待會。
